The 1848 Tricolour Celebration marks the conception and unveiling of the Irish Flag for the first time
by Irish and American Patriot, Thomas Francis Meagher
on the 7th of March 1848 at 33 The Mall, Waterford City, Ireland.
The 1848 Tricolour Celebration is a commemoration of this most significant event in Irish history.

The 2018 Tricolour Celebration takes place in Waterford from
the 2nd to 4th March 2018
